The target genre here is R&B, but I was always under the impression that R&B stood for "Rhythm and Blues". Am I mistaken? In this collection there are a few tracks that could easily fit into this category, but the majority would have to be classed as rap. Maybe the modern day R&B stands for "Rap and Beat Boy"? Surely at least the criteria for R&B should be some form of singing? Most achieve that criteria, but some do not.

This is not to say this is a bad collection of tracks, but buyers should be warned to read the track listing before purchasing this on the basis it will contain all your favourite R&B artists. Most artists won’t be too recognisable to many, but the tunes should be through recent radio airplay. And if you like rap music then this should really be a satisfactory collection.
