◎简　　介　

The movie is a tale about two brothers and obviously one woman. Both of them love the same girl and of course she loves the younger one. So the older one has to sacrifice.The youger brother (Bobby) is a play boy,while the elder brother is a usual hard worker.
The movie starts from a small village in punjab,from where they migrate to mumbai (typical hindi movie style) .They setup a DHABHA in mumbai which convert in a five star hotel "KIRAN CONTINENTAL "
Urmila think that Bobby is in love with him,so she refuse to marry sunny,but bobby said she is only a friend to him,and he did't believe in love.Slowly Urmila fall in love with sunny.
Dillagi is Dharmendra’s next production after Barsaat (1995), in which his beta Bobby Deol made his debut as an 'actor'. In Dillagi, his older beta Sunny Deol, makes his debut as a director. Sunny wanted an 'international look' for Dillagi (formerly titled London) so he roped in four music directors. The songs don’t really give that feeling. They sound much like any other song that one would find in a Hindi film.
Sunny direction is good .The movie had a glypse of punjabi culture & punjab.The album opener – “Dillagi” will be stuck in your head after the first listen. What’s amazing about the song is that there are TEN singers. Udit Narayan, Abhijeet, Alka Yagnik, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Sukhwinder Singh, Shankar Mahadevan, Sonu Nigam, Jaspinder Nirula, Mahalakshmi and Shaan make up the list.

                    [Plot Summary]

  Cast: Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Urmila Matondkar

  Story: Dillagi revolves around the tender and ticklish ways of the
  heart. Millenniums may come, millenniums may go, but that wonderful,
  timeless, feeling called love remains the one constant emotion. This
  love story traverses three generations of a family, represented by Biji
  (Zohra Sehgal), the adorable grandma & her son, who migrated from a laid
  back village to the teeming metropolis of Mumbai. Now the patriarch Veer
  Singh (Dara Singh) has made good in the city. And how ! His is the
  classic rags to riches story. The story now shifts to the present to Veer
  Singh's two thoroughly unlike sons Ranvir (Sunny Deol) & Rajvir
  (Bobby Deol). Ranvir is a man of few words, a workaholic, responsible & a
  hopeless romantic. While the younger brother has the gift of the gab. An
  extrovert by nature he loves the fast life, is footloose and fancy-free.
  If these two brothers who are as unlike each other as chalk and cheese
  have one common interest, it is the sweet & simple campus girl Shalini
  (Urmila Matondkar). Surprisingly neither of them is aware of their
  feelings for Shalini. Now a tangy, who'll win the girl romantic roller
  coaster ride kicks off. As the song goes dillagi dillagi dillagi kahani
  hai... Get set then for an entertainer that comes to you straight from
  the heart.
