This intense drama unfolds in the gritty, run-down confines of a sleepy New Jersey bar called Charlie's Bar and New Crystal Ballroom, the denizens of which are as tired and stuck in time as their surroundings. When former local and now-famous singer Joey Parker (Nick Chinlund, DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES) comes back to town for a television appearance, his success re-awakens the dreams and memories of his former drinking buddies, but Joey himself has another goal to accomplish: he wants to win back the woman he left behind long ago.
