◎简　　介　

东京湾沿岸发生了一连串的LABOR袭击事件，负责此案的城南署的久住及秦这两名刑事，也因为迟迟无法找出真正犯人而感到困扰。秦在此时删好认识了担任大学讲师的牙子，并渐渐地对她产生好感。持续著搜查行动的秦与久住，在东京湾上的储备基地遇到了将人类一个个吞噬的“怪物”，原以为此“怪物”就是这一连串事件的真正凶手，没想到“怪物”遗留于现场的肉块，却让整起事件产生了一百八十度的大转变，同时也波及到了警视厅、防卫厅及特车二课，甚至还发现了秦所不知道的牙子的另一面。此时，怪物再度出现于东京湾，为了结束这场悲痛的战役，英格拉姆于是挺身而出……

时隔4年，押井守导演推出了《机动警察PATLABOR》的第二部剧场版。然而，这部作品和前作的风格大不相同。本片的主角不再是泉野明和篠原游马，而成了后藤和南云这两位小队长；精彩的机器人格斗场面和青春恋爱剧情也根本绝迹。尽管如此，本片依然相当好看。一方面制作水准毫不逊色于前作，另一方面，情节也相当扣人心弦，成功地营造出了紧张的气氛。同时，押井导演将政治批判作为本片的主题，揭示出日本政府的种种问题，在内容的思想深度和针砭时弊的力度上又比前作更进了一步。本片是日本专业电影大奖评选出的年度十佳电影之一。

Set three years after the first film, Patlabor 2 draws police
commanders Ki'ichi Gotoh and Shinobu Nagumo into the hunt for
Tsuge, a rogue officer of the Japan Self-Defense Force connected
with an escalating wave of terrorist attacks. But the investigation
into the plot is guarded by secrets both personal and political,
as the awakening fear of terror in Tokyo is slowly answered by the
dream-like fade of democracy into martial law.

Tokyo, rush hour: the dead of winter. A terror strike from the
air shatters the Bay Bridge. When news footage shows an unidentifie
F-16 fighter jet in the vicinity, the investigation takes a darker
turn, as the cops of the Second Unit begin to trace the outlines
of the shadowy military and political coalition behind the
incident. But the conspiracy itself is out of control, and what
began as a gesture is becoming a game where the peace, the freedom
