◎简　　介　

1959年改编自大冈升平同名小说的反战电影《野火》，由于成功体现了大冈升平的思想，使市川昆再度赢来一片喝彩声。《野火》描绘日军在菲律宾战场伤亡惨重，一群溃不成军的散兵游勇啖同类身上的肉，着重刻画了日军在疯狂蹂躏和绝望自戕中的暴戾。

与一般的反战电影不同，它是从内在的方面来描写战争，是从战争情况下人们所表现出来的精神状态这一角度描写的。就好似把一个人放在最不人道的特定环境中，从而测量出这个人到底经得住多大程度的作人的考验，而战争正是进行这种实验的工具。
