剧情简介：
　　在不久就要到来的未来，通过基因工程加工出生的人才是正常人，而没有这道程序，自然分娩的孩子则被视同“病人”。文森特就是这样一个病人，而他的弟弟安东则是正常人。但文森特却非常想参加由遗传精英组成的戛塔卡公司，因为那样才能参加前往“迪坦"星的太空旅行。他用因事故导致瘫痪的正常人杰罗姆的血样和尿样报名参选，如愿以偿不说，还赢得搭档艾琳的爱情。但一起凶杀案差点让文森特前功尽弃。事实澄清后，文森特遗传上的“缺憾"还是被艾琳知道了。但爱情的力量使艾琳原谅了他，文森特终于飞上了浩翰的太空……
