◎简　　介　

故事描述身患绝症的中年男子范海弗林携带炸弹上了一班美国的国内班机，企图在飞机上引爆炸弹同归于尽，目的是使妻儿获得巨额保险金。他的自杀之举在最后关头被识破，但已令飞机受损，在驾驶员狄恩马丁、空姐珍西宾、机场航管中心主任华兰卡斯特、救难指挥乔治甘西迪等人密切合作下，终于使飞机在大风雪下安全迫降地面，化解了一场大空难。
