◎简　　介　

　　本片围绕着罗马最后一任皇帝的被抓和囚禁展开。
　　公元476年，罗马：在12岁的罗马皇帝奥古斯都·罗慕路斯加冕前夜，奥多亚克（Odoacer）来到了罗马，要与奥列斯特斯（Orestes）进行一笔交易，他想要对罗马帝国分一杯羹，奥列斯特斯拒绝了他。
　　加冕仪式当天，全罗马的人民都聚集到了一起来观看加冕典礼。罗慕路斯的启蒙师预言他将有危险，奥列斯特斯为了保护儿子的安全指定Aurelius来做他的贴身保卫。当晚，奥多亚克和他的军队兵临罗马城下。伴随着震天的吼声，一场惨烈的战争开始了，街道上血流成河。
　　罗马城里的守兵溃不成军，奥列斯特斯和他的妻子朱丽亚被杀后，罗慕路斯和他的启蒙师一同被抓，并被带到了卡普里岛。在岛上，罗慕路斯发现了恺撒的神剑……
