There are so many awfully scripted ridiculous movies produced in hongkong
categorized in the so-called 'comedy genre', and believe me, this is exactly one of
them. i often thought the way of the thinking by many hongkong movie producers,
investors, screenplay writers and directors are very childish and illogical, otherwise
they would not have churned out so many bad movies, especially the comedies. it would
put the viewers in a very awkward and embarrassing position if they decided to give
these bad movies a try. there should be some showing rooms in the theater where every
chair got restraining arm belts and floor leg chains. once the viewers sit down, those
restraining devices would be automatically activated and locked tight. nobody could
leave the showing room until it finished. otherwise, i could never imagine any viewer
would have the patience and endurance to sit thru and sit out the whole movie. of
course, there would always be some morons similar to those producers, screenplay
writers, directors and all those who related to these films might decide to sit in the
chairs and having a good time. i won't blame anything on any actor or actress in this
'dancing lion' movie. i always understood there's actually no bad actor. it is the bad
screenplays and the bad directors that turned the actors a bad actor. this stupid
'dancing lion', from the first second it started to the last second when it finally
ended, is nothing but a theatrical humiliation and disaster, an ultimate insult and
disrespect to viewers like us.
