◎简　　介　

　　每个西方人都知道「冥河」（Stynx）源自于希腊神话，是死后灵魂穿越的地方。它也是80年代一个乐团的名字，曾演唱过畅销流行歌曲「罗伯特先生」。   　　然而本片除了人名以外，与此一概无关。这部带有讽刺意味的惊悚片叙述保险箱大盗尼尔森（Peter Weller）被迫退休后，帮哥哥麦克（Angus MacFadyen）偿还赌债。为了还钱，尼尔森只有冒生命危险再度下海。
