◎简　　介　

编导王晶以“人物前传"的方式再创新犹，用黎明演出高进的年轻时代，并以陈小春演出龙五，同时一举解释了高进的失忆症和好吃巧克力糖等第一集即已出现的谜团，成功地完成了《赌神》的三部曲。《赌神》一片出现时，曾以片中多彩多样的赌术令观众看得目瞠口呆，但是本片在多年后推出，各式各样的赌术已在银幕上泛滥成灾，观众亦见怪不怪。因此，王晶在这部新作中改以人物关系作为其刻划重点。从七姑娘（袁咏仪饰）从小对高进的爱慕、师兄高傲（吴镇宇饰）对高进的妒忌、以至龙五与高进之间的识英雄重英雄等，都描述得生动而有层次，使本片的前半部显得相当青春焕发，也兼具幽默趣味。可惜高进的师妹（梁咏琪饰）塑造得过份虚假，像一个被编导拉线操纵的木偶，以致她在被迫嫁给高傲之后还能狠心出卖高进变得毫无说服力，使压轴高潮的剧力也因而打了折扣。

  The Prequel to the God of Gambler's movie. It chronicles how a young Ko Chun
played by Leon Lai, acquires his legendary gambling skills and claims the title God

gambler, when he goes to compete for the God of Gambler's title. Unfortunately, Ko
Chun is nearly murdered by Kent before he goes to win the final round and lapses into
