　　由美国环球影片公司和希契科克制片公司出品，导演、制片阿尔弗雷德·希区柯克。美国青年阿姆斯特朗为了搞到一个属于尖端机密的科学公式，假装叛逃到东柏林，不惜干掉他的贴身保镖。经过一番激烈追逐，阿姆斯特朗终于搞到了秘密公式，最后携萨拉飞往瑞典。导演以对人物行为逻辑性的高度重视，使整个故事以一分为三的明确界限自然而然地向前发展。在摄影方面，影片也进行了一些革新。该片在“最受欢迎的希契科克10大佳片"中名列第三位。
