◎简　　介　

　　约翰·卡特本是航空公司的保安人员，但没能保住妻子躲过劫匪的子弹。妻子的不幸死亡既使他痛苦，又令他沮丧。公司在配合联邦调查局押送劫机重犯时，故意安排已改任安全训练教师的卡特同机，怕的就是途中发生意外。果然，劫机犯同伙混上飞机杀了机长，欲驾机逃往别处。卡特果断将飞机汽油放掉，迫使飞机降落在路易斯安娜州一个小机场。当他向当地警方寻求支援时反被扣留。幸好联邦调查局探员及时赶到，将卡特送上已在跑道上开始滑行的飞机。在一场恶斗之后，卡特终于制服劫匪，再度让飞机安全降落。

[PLOT]
        
        John Cutter is a security expert, who is presently still mourning the death of his wife. His friend,
        who works for an airline, offers him the job of chief of security, which he accepts. He is then being
        flown to L.A. for the company's annual meeting, where he will be introduced as the new Chief of
        Security. But unfortunately for him, Charles Rane, a stoic and deranged terrorist, who was caught by
        the FBI and is also being flown to L.A. is on the plane. And Rane's people are on board, who then
        takeover the plane but Cutter throws a monkey wrench into his plans.
