◎简　　介　

贝丝和母亲凯特在父亲死后，从繁华的洛杉矶市，移居到一个背山面水的小镇。刚移居的小地方的贝丝，一开始适应不良，想念大城市里逛街方便的百货公司，和故居种种温馨的回忆。 一天，贝丝目睹了一个叫茱蒂的女孩子和男生打架，虽然小镇里的人早给茱蒂扣上「坏孩子」的大帽子，但是贝丝觉得茱蒂本性善良，而且主动和她结为好友，并且逐渐走进茱蒂的内心世界，最后逐渐瓦解茱蒂的心防，并且得知她是母亲再婚后不幸福的牺牲者。 茱蒂把藏在心中许久的梦想告诉贝丝：「找出传说中，藏在熊山(bear mountain)里的黄金。」在暑假来临的第一天，茱蒂和贝丝带着地图，来到了埋藏黄金的山洞入口，两个年轻的小女孩，开始了一场寻宝的冒险……
