◎简　　介　

The Night James Brown Saved Boston is a documentary film about a concert given by soul singer James Brown on April 5, 1968: the night after civil rights icon Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated.
In the wake of rioting in several cities after King's murder, then-Boston Mayor Kevin White considered cancelling Brown's planned show at the Boston Garden. Instead, White met with Brown, who agreed to allow the concert to be televised. Many believe that decision prevented riots from breaking out in Boston.
