　　影片改编于巴西作家Raduan nassar的同名小说，探讨一个古老而沉重的话题：纯洁于秩序根本上与人本性的不相容。但因为述诸于一个被摧毁的美好家庭，而增加了悲剧感。为了强调这种悲剧感，影片采取了比较夸张的风格：大量的特写、大量的跳切，冗长的对话，使本来就很长的影片，越发的叫人不舒服。不过，还是有一些片段，让人从心里喜欢：那段美不胜收的巴西舞蹈，那么美的姑娘，让欲望于激情都有了道理；男孩于妹妹约会的一段，交叉蒙太奇，是儿时的男孩和美丽的鸽子，那么美好热烈的感情，一切都可以饶恕。那些美丽的细节，让人几乎可以原谅这部严重失重的影片。
