        一部系列电影拍到第八集，还能看吗？出人意料地，本片却是《十三号星期五》系列各集中拍得最好的一部。编导罗伯海顿在杀人如麻的招牌式剧情之外，多少还拍出了一些别的意思。剧情描述沉尸在水晶湖底的杰森又再复活，并从一艘渡假船的电线充电补充活力。他迅速在船上展开杀戮，并跟随船上的学生来到纽约的曼哈顿。有三名学生和两名女性监护员从船上成功逃命，但仍然被杰森在城中到处追杀。最后女英雄蕾妮从幻觉之中看到了杰森的成长过程，终于捉到他的致命弱点而将他制服。压轴戏有如是整个系列电影的浓缩版，有不少其中的精彩片段，也是本片最有吸引力的高潮。
