　　以上内容均为真人真事。而本片也就是根据Mariane Pearl就关于丈夫的回忆录《坚强的心：我的丈夫Danny Pearl 勇敢的生活和死亡》(A Mighty Heart: The Brave Life and Death of My Husband Danny Pearl)改编而成。
　　影片完全尊重书中纪录，从身怀六甲的Mariane Pearl角度展开故事，向世人刻画描写了一位坚强的妇女，一段忠贞的爱恋，一份执着的守候与一个心酸的结局……

布拉德·皮特担任制片，爱妻安吉莉娜·朱莉领衔主演的新片《A Mighty Heart》，描写的是著名的华尔街邮报记者丹尼尔·珀尔在巴基斯坦被杀事件。影片剧本改编自丹尼尔·珀尔的妻子玛琳娜的传记《坚强的心：我的丈夫丹尼尔·珀尔的勇敢一生》。现实中，丹尼尔·珀尔于2002年在一起关于“9·11”恐怖事件调查的案件中，被凶狠的恐怖分子绑架并最终惨遭杀害。
　　事实上，影片的拍摄过程与影片过于敏感的题材而同样遭遇到了不少的磨难。原本打算在巴基斯坦当地拍摄的剧组，由于受到恐怖分子的生命威胁而被迫转往印度拍摄。但厄运并未就此终结：没想到在拍摄过程中却爆发了剧组保镖为了阻挠狗仔记者拍照而出手打人的冲突，被打的记者自然也不会善罢甘休，险些将保镖和剧组告上法庭。而这只是拍摄过程中的小风波之一。
