Jai Walia's experiences in the Indian army affect him deeply - he feels that war is not the solution for any problem. Upon leaving, he is looking to search within himself and when his army senior Jojo calls him to spend some time in Goa, Jai takes the opportunity and goes, hoping the seclusion and the sea will give him the comfort for his mind and the answers for his troubled soul. Jai helps the girl by allowing her to stay but while trying to steal money, Rima is caught red handed by a drug dealer and a scuffle ensues where Rima shoots the drug dealer. Hearing the sound Jai rushes and takes the gun from the girl's hand and thereby putting his fingerprints on the murder weapons inadvertently.
