◎简　　介　

片名中的“东京战争”指的是，1969年秋，学生们为了阻止首相访美而进行的激烈斗争。元木和朋友们试图在那个学生运动风起云涌的年代，用摄影机纪录历史和自己的青春，但他们的青春被幻像和虚无充斥。到最后，元木也无法得知“他”是否就是通过电影留下遗书自杀，而“他”自杀的原因又是什么，或者也许他还在片头和片尾两次看到了自己的一次死亡。

  不用说，这是一部实验性破强的影片，根本无法从中看到一个完整的故事，或是得到一个明确的结论，这个寻访死亡的影片实际上是一个关于那个时代年轻学生精神死亡的调查，也是他们献给自己的一首挽歌。大岛渚学生时代曾是公认的领袖，曾在50年代领导大型学运，也曾经历了学运的彻底失败，这部影片也许就是他借这次学运缅怀自己青春的作品，是献给所有日本学运中“精神死去”的朋友的祭奠。
