In one word, avoid. Keep away. There are ample ways to while away one’s time than land up in a killjoy movie. Never for the life of you, walk into the torturous trash titled — Laila, a mystery.

Avoid Laila with all the will at your command. Lunatic and loathsome, Laila may look tantalising. But then don’t be swayed by the salacious posters. They are meant to make you to succumb to temptation. Laila neither entertains nor keeps you glued with its ludicrous and lurid tale. Laila is a classic example what Bollywood foists on its fans bankrupt for ideas. It is another sleaze flick that draws audiences into seamy and steamy session peddling soft-porn in the garb of entertainment.

But then Laila is so disoriented and languid in its pace it will only put one into deep slumber. Laila has Nikita/Nicole and Nalini/Naina who make the most of men’s weakness. Shedding skimpy clothes, taking as many names they can, the moment they find their fall guy, they hook line and sinker them into compromising situation.

Once these wealthy, cash rich ‘bakras’, succumb to their guile, feminine charms and indulge in lustful play they start blackmailing them into coughing hefty ransom. The head of these nefarious activities is Madam donning the garb of a sanyasin. While Nikita and Nalini romp about to loot and lure men into raunchy affairs, two studs — Mike and Dev, also their victims, lose their hearts for them.

Who are these two men? What happens to Nikita and Nalini? Stringing this as suspense element in their vacuous saga, story-writer Sunil Kumar and director Vicky G try to hoodwink their viewers. While men wander about like zombies, the semi-clad women indulge in skin and smooch show driving drooling audience into dreamy siesta on a dog day afternoon at the theatres
