It is a love story featuring five boys and a girl. All the five boys approach the girl and announce that they are in love with her. But to whom the girl finally responds positively is the central plot of the theme. It also tries to pump a bit of belief in Godly acts and in wearing mystical objects to elicit Gods help. Anjali in this film ties to the forehand of all the boys, who make friends with her, a ‘Kasi Daaram’ and says, “God is with you. Think of Him. He will do good.” Of course all the persons are benefited and each one of them entertains the hope of marrying her. Anjali (Meera Vasudevan) works in a bank. Anjali influences the individual lives of all these boys with her goodness and positive outlook. They are Rahul, son of an industrialist, Seenu - a flower seller, Anand-an executive, Bala - a painter and Abhi - son of a tycoon and studying abroad. And each one of them at a stage proposes to her. She coolly rejects four of them and accepts the love of Abhi. Though upset initially at this development, the four boys stand by her and prepare to help her get married the boy she loves. But Abhi’s father Sripati Rao (Vijag Prasad) plays villainy in her life. He first sends away his son abroad to continue studies, promising him that he will get him married to the girl he loved and then administering slow poison into Anjali through a corrupt doctor. By the time Anjali realizes what kind of foul game Abhi’s father played in her life, she is almost nearing death. That is when her friends stand by him. Later Abhi returns from abroad to end the film on a happy note.
