   導演路易斯．略薩（Luis Llosa）、女主角伊莎貝拉．羅賽里尼等多位演員，以及作家略薩本人都到場參與盛會。該部小說並非憑空虛構，略薩自七○年代親自至多明尼加採訪即開始動筆，故事情節圍繞著多明尼加共和國獨裁者特魯希略（Leonidas Trujillo）長達31年的獨裁政權推展，並曾因此獲得多明尼加頒發的重要文學獎。
