Seth Adkins (Bad News Bears) is young hero Cooper Blakely in this action-packed adventure about five kids that travel to a mysterious island where legendary pirates have been trapped in an ancient curse. But only the one with the pure heart will be able to reverse the curse by finding Blackbeard's gold. A scheme unfolds as the charming but devious Hookbeard the Pirate (Bernsen), teaches the aspiring pirates to master sword fighting, torture and other wretched skills that will help lead him to his beloved treasure. But the tables turn as the equally clever kids discover the pirates have been playing them all along. In the midst of peril, the kids discover that friendship and courage wins over greed.
