◎简　　介　
Two girls at the end of highschool. Two milieus of modern Turkey. Behiye is angry. Her mother lives in a traditional way and is very religious. Behiye’s older brother is a fan of Turkish soccer players who behave like machos and has a poster of a populist far-right politician on the wall of his room. Hadan lives with her mother. Her mother thinks in an European way, she is modern and liberal until self-abandonment. She has an affair with a rich businessman and longs for new love. She is self-confident and is not able to cook even the easiest Turkish national dish. The two girls become friends. Of course, each girl is not accepted by the other milieu. But they dream of going away together – to Australia for example. They dream of a new (better) life to begin.
A film about growing up and also about Turkey and its contradictions and about what unites the girls: the desire for change. A fast, colourful urban story whose director has already been to our cinemas with ‘Lola + Bilidikid’ in 1998.
