◎简　　介　

This movie ran yesterday on the Lifetime Channel, and it's rather rare for me to watch a movie that is: (1) on Lifetime and (2) has no rating or review on IMDb. However, I was interested almost immediately, and the pace of the movie remained solid throughout. The pieces of the puzzle fit into place nicely, and a few twists made the viewer guess at times.

Without giving away anything more than you will find in the plot summary, a woman investigative reporter dies early in the movie under suspicious circumstances. Her college friend (Thea Gill), who is currently doing "fluff" pieces and her college professor (Stephanie Zimbalist) decide to investigate the cause of her death. Along the way, more and more is revealed to them, and the viewer does really get a sense for the danger they are in.

Although this is clearly a "made for TV" movie, most of the cinematic elements are fairly solid, however, at times I did feel that the acting was a bit weak and there were some minor plot holes. Combining elements of "Erin Brockovich" and "The Rockford Files", I found it to be an above average tale.
