◎简　　介　

Yoshida's first movie for Shochiku narrates the life of young students against a background of jazz, emptiness and boredom. Yet one of those "good-for-nothing" coming from a poor background falls for a young secretary of his rich friend's father. The woman senses good in him and tries to lead him on the right path. Yoshida demonstrates his talent and innovation in this early new wave attempt, showing great mastery of lighting and composition.
