剧情：中国版《两杆老烟枪》
　　《疯狂的石头》是一部前所未有的现代喜剧，故事由一块在厕所里发现的价值不菲的翡翠而起。重庆某濒临倒闭的工艺品厂在推翻旧厂房时发现了一块价值连城的翡翠，为经济效益特此搞了一个展览，希望卖出天价以改善几个月发不出工资的局面。不料国际大盗麦克与本地以道哥为首的小偷三人帮都盯上了翡翠，通过各自不同的“专业技能”一步步向翡翠逼近。他们在相互拆台的同时，又要共同面对工艺品厂保卫科长包世宏这一最大的障碍。在经过一系列明争暗斗的较量及真假翡翠的交换之后，两拨贼被彻底的黑色幽默了一把。

导演介绍：
　　导演宁浩，1977年出生于中国山西，毕业于北京电影学院摄影系。宁浩的学生电影《星期四，星期三》(2001)获得了当年北京大学生电影节最佳导演奖和中国大学生电影数码媒体竞赛银奖。宁浩的首部电影处女作《香火》(2003)在瑞士罗卡洛举行了首映，并获得东京银座电影节大奖，之后又获得香港国际电影节亚洲DV竞赛单元金奖。该电影同时被香港艺术中心授予2004年最佳电影，也是圣赛瓦斯蒂安、温哥华、慕尼黑、马尼拉、悉尼、加州、台湾南方影展等其他七大国际电影节的评委会入选影片。他的新作《绿草地》入选2004年柏林电影节和香港电影节，并获得上海电影节亚洲区最受欢迎奖。该片在纽约上映期间获得了纽约时报的高度评价。

影片简评：
　　作为普通观众，如王小波说的一样，我们看电影不是为了受教育，而是为了娱乐。对于我们来说，电影只分两种：好看的，与不好看的。或者分的更详细一点：好笑的，与不好笑的。也许这部片子不能成为象《霸王别姬》、《活着》那样的经典，但是它好看，让我开怀大笑了好多次。对于电影来说，没有比观众走出电影院后说“这片子真好看”再高的褒奖了。
　　我不敢说这是一部超越了经典的喜剧片，甚至不敢说这是一部经典电影，怕会被人骂成枪手。但是我极端喜欢这部电影，因为它好看，这就足够了。当今中国电影里，能当得起这三个字的，又有多少呢？

    The popularity of this movie in China is quite logical: black comedies to the extent that this movie has gone are still a novelty and it is quite well done. If the movie makers have been inspired by only one "foreign" movie, it would probably be "Lock, stock and two smoking barrels", as someone has already mentioned. But of course they have seen a lot more, many of which have been reflected in this movie, as intentional parodies or otherwise.

"Crazy stone" has a somewhat convoluted plot, which is not necessarily hopelessly complicated. All it requires is a little attention. Filming technique and editing is not as avant-garde as some of the classic which have become familiar by now – Pulp Fiction, Memento, Amores perros, 21 Grams, just to name a few. There are just enough sleight-of-hand montages to keep it interesting. So does the proliferation of characters – a least a dozen, in four or five "interest groups". Dickens' type caricature or more flesh-and-blood, they are all well acted.

Together with my recommendation, I would like to mention one interesting thing that captured my attention – filmmakers shooting a movie in Chongqing seem to be fond of showcasing the cable car across Chang Jiang (Long River). Saw one recently in another quality Chinese movie, "Sheng huo xiu".
