BE MY BABY is a light-hearted romantic comedy about a 30s something girl named Rylee [Rene Ashton] who, after being burned by one too many men, has given up on love... and decided to turn it into a business. Rylee becomes an endearing trickster who is out to get the cheating, married men of Los Angeles by giving them a tiny bit too much to drink, making them think they抳e had a one night stand, then showing up a year later with a baby (conveniently borrowed from her mother抯 [Julia Duffy ?Designing Women] day care center) to collect pay off money for not telling their wives. Her scheme works out until she tricks the wrong guy [Brody Hutzler of Days of Our Lives and Legally Blonde], who isn抰 married and wants to keep 搕heir baby? Then he figures out Rylee抯 scheme and tries to beat her at her own game... and that leads to a cat and mouse game during which the two of them fall in love with each other, ending the movie with a moral lesson learned and the beginning of a new, true love.
