Harold And Kumar Go To London, that should have been the proper title for this dreadful comedy. But saying that, the original Harold And Kumar movie can not be disrespected, by associating this piece of drivel to it. Can it?

Rafta Rafta, is the Bollywood version of the Hollywood comedy. It has two brainless characters, recently graduated, travelling to a foreign country, for some adventure – when in reality they should be studying.

After reaching the shores of Britannia, they fall in love (not with each other – thank God) and, being the kind hearted chaps that they are, try to help out a damsel in distress. The damsel gets blown up by a bomb (not in the best taste with the current terrorist situation in London) and our heroes find themselves being hunted down by Scotland Yard (not the whole highland country but the British police force).

The film sees the return of former starry-eyed kid Rahul Roy, now not looking as princely as he used to, and an irrelevant role for Pakistani star Javed Sheikh. Both play their parts rather soundly under the circumstances.

The main two actors (Sameer Dharmadhikari and Viraj Kumar) look a little too old to be students, and act like they have just come out of kindergarten. I predict a career in television serials for both, but saying that, Balaji Telefilms do have a high standard of selection.
