In late 2002, somewhere between all the trees in the middle of Sweden, a couple of dudes with more boredom and tristress than a rock, got drunk and spat out the idea of doing something creative between all the moonshine and beers. A couple of beers and some drinks later, they broke in to a classroom full of instruments and other weird stuff.
No one couldn’t even play properly, except for Mr. Tobago AKA Mason, who had played some stand-up-bass in a jazzgroup. But that does not count at all on this…
So, with full force they argued a little bit about who was going to do what, so the first line up was in the end:

Mason – Piano
Fall Töbin Ohlsson – Stand-up-bass
Jommo-Ågren – Guitar
Tranberg & The Heartbreakers - Vocal

It is often said that out of tristress comes creativity and that’s true, but this dudes where not going to do some sad popmusic! So with this in mind and the fact that no one really knew how to handle an instrument, out came punkrock! The monotony quickly became a fact with this lineup and the choice of instruments in the group, so duke contacted two other retards: Kickster and Don don.
Now, when the ground for mayhem was built, people and members dropped in and out of the group like flies, but the ground was still the same: Four retards with total different music styles in their veins, no jobs, no plans for the future, and still living with their parents…
So with kickster behind the drums, Don don pumping the guitar and Mason doing the bass, Duke took the mic and went berserk. But something was still missing. Straight from some Eighties synth-rock-kind of band Cüzzmoses AKA Cosse came along, who would lay down the missing piece: A solo guitar. Now Passarounders was completed and ready to kick down doors that were invisible for the untrained eye.
With a lineup from some abyss in the deep forest of Dalarna, Sweden, and a look that would rape a small country, the machine of Passarounders feels like a kiss in the forehead with a big boot.

Stamps from Bulgaria is the result of a long-term
    investigation into Bulgarian Folklore and its correlation with
    other music traditions and instruments. For me, there were two
    personal challenges in this project: as composer and as
    pianist.
    My approach as composer was to avoid rearranging these songs,
    but rather to treat them as any other compositional element
    such as a major triad, a rhythmical phrase, intervals, etc.
    Thus establishing a process of de- and re-construction, which
    will eventually result in a new musical form, which is
    sometimes closer to the original than others.
    On selecting the songs, I searched carefully for any personal
    and emotional connection and/or something unique (such as odd
    time measure, lyrics, or just a melody), which also contained
    enough dramatic potential, yet leaving room for exploration.
    As a pianist I referred to the traditional singing and
    instruments in an attempt to apply their specific
    characteristics on the piano keyboard. I treated the piano as
    a melodic rather than harmonic instrument, which is its most
    common function.
    All songs come from different regions of Bulgaria. Some are
    more popular than others. It is of course arguable which songs
    are actually Bulgarian, but this issue gives another dimension
    to my research and poses the question of national identity - a
    much discussed issue in a modern multi-cultural society.

  DAVID CUNNINGHAM is a record producer and musician who makes
  installation works based on real-time exploration of
  acoustics. His first significant commercial success came with
  THE FLYING LIZARDS' single 'Money', an international hit in
  1979. Over the years he has worked with with an eclectic range
  of people and music, from pop groups (THIS HEAT, MARTIN CREED)
  to improvisation (DAVID TOOP, STEVE BERESFORD) to Michael
  Nyman's music for Peter Greenaway's films and work with UTE
  LEMPER and others.

  The installation works have inhabited the 11th Biennale of
  Sydney, Tate Britain, ICC Tokyo, Ikon Birmingham and most
  recently Carter Presents, London. "I'm interested in what
  happens when time, sound and space are explored together.
  Inseparable elements, but formal European thought does not
  really seem to acknowledge this. (...) I was fascinated by the
  sonic vocabulary enabled by the reel-to-reel tape recorder and
  its successor technology - tools that could manipulate and
  shape sound like nothing else. Most records I intuitively love
  involve this sort of treatment - from Elvis Presley's
  Heartbreak Hotel to The Ronettes to Terry Riley to Donna
  Summer's I Feel Love and so many more."

  YASUAKI SHIMIZU, composer, arranger and renowned jazz
  saxophonist (who has worked with RYUICHI SAKAMOTO, BILL
  LASWELL and THE ORB) has been pushing the saxophone to the
  limit since the 1970s. Whether as a solo performer, with his
  group 'SAXOPHONETTES' or as a composer for film and video
  soundtracks (e.g. Peter Greenaway's 'Pillow Book') he has
  consistently explored new avenues in an unparalleled musical
  career.

"An Opening Of The Earth: Recovered" revisits a spontaneous collaboration between the two   
musicians, captured in the early 90's. Recorded in an obsolete format, no longer playable   
with today's technology. The old playback device, recovered from dusty storage for one last  
use, and the recording of this event brought back into the present - recovered once again.At
once a sonic artifact of the recent past and a touchstone for contemporary developments in   
lo-fi electronic sound.                                                                     
                                                                                             
Franklin and Northam's original meeting saw them both on the cusp of developments in their   
own careers. Franklin's seminal Ambient trio, TUU shortly after embarked on an enduring      
series of CD releases and performances across Europe. Michael Northam's nomadic life as a   
travelling sound artist continued from this point onward, leaving a trail of recorded        
evidence from projects in 25 countries.                                                      
                                                                                             
Mythic imagery of man descending into the mysteries of the Inner Earth is conjured in this   
intense recorded performance.Using lo-fi sampling, eerie drones, percussive metal            
instruments and effects, the players trace an intuitive path through a midnight electronic   
improvisation. Snippets of sound from other projects of that time slip in and out of the     
mix, roughly recorded Theatre rehearsals, and audio of UK street life appear from dictaphone
tapes. Like an unearthed archeological find, the recordings of this ritualistic performance  
tie the pieces to their location, as well as the events of their time.                       
                                                                                             
After unearthing the original tapes, Martin Franklin has created all new mixes for this      
Faria Records release, including previous unheard sections, re-interpreted and enhanced for

Crushing 2 tracks of dark menacing twisted sludge
doom - a foreboding assault on the senses.        
Aggressive and menacing, strong compositions and  
musicianship - yet these tracks have the ability  
to drift beautifully, as you get lost within its  
radiance.                                         
                                                   
Eibon is a 4 pieces act featuring Drowning bass   
player, Stephane Riviere and guitarist Georges   
Balafas on vocals. Along with Jerome Lachaud, who
was Stephane抯 former band mate & drummer in the  
French legendary Doom-Metal pioneer Garden Of     
Silence. Jerome was also part of the Doom veterans
Astral Rising. The line-up was completed by      
long-time friend Max Hedin on guitars.            
In March ?7, Eibon released a split-CD with the  
Stoner metal freaks Hangman抯 Chair on the extreme
metal label Bones Brigade records. Critics and   
feedback have been really positive and the        
split-CD was sold-out only 6 months after its     
release.                                          
This first effort already gave an idea of what   
Eibon is all about: somewhere between agressive   
Sludge and Heavy Doom-metal. The music is based on
progressive structures, alternating pounding heavy
riffs and melody based parts.                     
Today, Eibon is back with its first Digipack      
Mini-CD containing 2 new tracks, recorded in      
October 2007 in the same studio and mixed by      
Andrew G. (Glorior Belli, Temple Of Baal) and     
released by UK抯 Aesthetic Death records         
(Esoteric, Fleurety, Stumm)                       
Theses 2 new tracks reflect the band抯 evolution:
progressive parts are longer and more complex     
while agressive parts are even harsher.           
In the meanwhile, Eibon has been regularly seen on
stage in 2007. Each time, the band received very  
positive responses from the audience.
