　　被称为天才医师的「巴提斯塔手术」执刀手，第一外科副教授桐生恭一医师（吉川晃司饰）、专精于冠状动脉绕道手术，成为桐生医师第一助手的垣谷雄次医师（佐野史郎饰）、顶尖的病理医师，也是桐生的乾弟鸣海凉医师（池内博之饰）、冷静无比的麻醉医师冰室贡一郎（田中直树饰）、桐生的第二助手，自信热血的酒井利树医师（玉山铁二饰）、看似温和的临床医学技士，人工心肺专家羽场贵之（田口浩正饰），以及刚加入团队的护士大友直美（井川遥饰）。
