环保题材的《天然气之国》展现    了一个不为人知的环保危机：数百万美国人在自家后院采集天然气，而天然气比宣传中所说的要有污染性得多。导演福克斯拍摄该片的起因是由于一家天然气公司试图在他家的土地上钻取天然气。

该片在2010年圣丹斯电影节世界    纪录片单元获得评审团特别奖。
