播放电影的时候，画面会被稍微拉高一点，不能保持原始画面的宽高比，720P的动画片直接就是满屏（狩猎季节II和料理鼠王），画面也是被拉高了的。
字幕是SRT格式的，必须转成UTF-8的格式，新固件已经出来了，升级之后直接支持国标中文了，不需要多这一个转换步骤了。
补上初测文字部分：
初步接上测试了一下。我这个Firmware直接就是1.00.01的版本。

这个片子播放没有问题，非常流畅，DTS音轨输出也OK，没有卡的问题。
没找到DTS多音轨的片子，AC3的多音轨的有一个：

这个AC3多音轨的也OK，音轨正常，没有卡。倒是有一个单音轨的DTS片子卡：
The.Mummy.Tomb.Of.The.Dragon.Emperor.2008.720p.BluRay.x264-SiNNERS
这个片子，看NFO音轨是English 5.1dts/1500bps，测试了7、8个单音轨DTS的片子，唯独这一个片子有楼主说的卡的问题，其他均正常，不管是720P还是1080P的。

增加了不少新功能，字幕文字大小可以调整了，字幕位置已经下移到视频下的黑边上了，增加了tp和ts等文件的支持，因为手头没有Remux的片子，所以没有测试ts格式的片子。
支持的字幕文件格式也增加了几种，简体中文字幕不需要转换成UTF-8就直接可以支持显示了。MKV章节支持选择，内嵌字幕也支持了。
之前说的问题，画面尺寸不能保持视频的原始宽高比，会被拉高一点，因为屏幕比例默认检测是宽屏幕，我想就是这个原因导致画面被拉高了一点。设置成正常，画面又被稍微压扁了一点点，总之我感觉不是原始画面的宽高比。估计用16：9的液晶显示器可能会正常一点，俺用的是16：10的显示器。具体分辨率设置里不能手动设置为1920X1200的分辨率，都是720P啊，1080P之类的分辨率，我想画面的比例和这个也有关系。
设置里面视频制式默认就是PAL，不让选择NTSC，不知道为何。
其他问题和体会慢慢更新。
2008.12.29继续测试：
又搜罗了一堆的测试片，各种类型的都有，测试完之后，俺还是非常满意的，WDTV作为一个播放器来说，已经物超所值了。
下面测试片的文件信息是在Kmplayer中查看然后复制来的，后面有几个片子是直接复制的nfo文件中的信息。所有片子的评价均为本人观看后的
直观感受，仅供参考。

播放流畅，片子色彩比前几个看起来偏淡一点，小妞的身材和皮肤都不错，小妞在水池里的时候，水面浪花波动的时候，有马赛克的感觉，应该是
通病吧；巴黎的街景色彩虽然偏淡一点，感觉更真实一点，后面的夜景噪点很明显，夜景还是不错。音频无问题。

三星这个有问题，播放时有拖影和马赛克，只要是换面切换或者是有人走动的时候，都是有马赛克现象，从头到尾都是，音频无问题，这片子在电

这是原盘了，m2ts的，播放流畅，视频音频流畅，但是音频1输出解码器上显示是Stereo，呵呵，能发声意境不错了，默认是PCM音轨1，音轨2是AC3
，输出无问题，视频音频同步，音轨3还是PCM，解码器上显示还是Stereo，也有声音，只不过是立体声了。视频效果不错，现场刚非常好。BEYONCE

还是经典片子，两条音轨，DTS的音轨播放的时候隔几秒卡一下，原因未知。AC3中文音轨正常，但是音量明显比DTS低很多，画面的噪点颗粒较大，

经典片子，音频是DTS的，效果很好，配乐都很不错的，没看过的推荐一下。虽然是从编码的1080P的，视频质量还是很好的，尤其是水下的景色，

视频音频流畅，画质个人感觉很好，毕竟片子2小时长，10M的码流表现不错了。色彩很浓厚，稍微感觉噪点有一点多。不管如何此片算是音画俱佳了吧。
2009.01.07补充：
WD TV支持大容量移动硬盘没问题，1T和1.5T的3.5寸移动硬盘都能识别，并正常播放。之前测试的时候使用的是120G和250G的2.5寸移动硬盘。
2009.02.01补充：
刚刚使用家里的电视机测试了一下，也是东芝34的，采用复合视频音频接电视机：
正常模式下，视频画面正常，不变形，清晰度很好，高清播放感觉屈才了，呵呵，DVDRIP播放的时候俺都觉得效果很不错了，播放DVDRIP的时候附带的是IDX+SUB的字幕，字幕显示无问题，正常。
再来说说关于AC3音频的事情，因为之前一直未采用符合音频接电视机测试，所以不知道WDTV是否能解码AC3，现在确认一下，WDTV本身是可以解码AC3音频的，只是DTS无法解码。
测试的DVDRIP的片子是：
