　Born Brian Warner in Canton, Ohio, Marilyn Manson didn't get much attention until he grew his hair long,dyed it black, started wearing white face paint and lipstick, and started a band with lyrics about death,destruction, and satanism. One of the rock bands most feared and hated by religious conservatives, Marilyn Manson has garnered as much attention from talk show pundits as from angst-ridden teens. This documentary traces the history of the band and in particular, its fearless leader--from his largely unremarkable childhood to his ascent into international notoriety. The Reverend Stephen Johnson Layba, head of the Church of Satan, is also interviewed.
