◎简　　介　

　　Nigel escaping his criminal past from England is stuck in a loveless relationship with his wife Maria in a run down Copenhagen apartment. They both struggle privately with drug habits. It doesn't help that Nigel is constantly under pressure from moneylenders and needs work badly...but what seems like a lucky break, he finds he can make easy money with a company, run by a man simply called the President. His first job is straight-forward, storing illegal goods until the heat cools. Nigel meets gorgeous Tanya, a working girl of the President, through his new activities. He hopelessly falls for her good looks and charm and they begin a potentially dangerous affair. The only one who senses Nigel's anguish is a mysterious and angelic drug dealer, Jimmy, but Nigel unwisely never listens to him. When the affair with Tanya becomes tense, Nigel cannot cope and threatens to leave her. Tanya seeing her dreams fall apart rages and assaults him and attempts to take her own life. Meanwhile Maria struggles to keep their cold relationship afloat but senses something astray. She discovers she is pregnant with Nigel's child and is both excited and scared. Ready to kick her habit, she now sees an opportunity to stabilize her life. But it's too late - something now has twisted in Nigel's psyche...
