◎简 介
迪士尼１９９９年暑假推出的動畫電影【泰山】（Tarzan）是迪士尼所出品的第３７部經典動畫 電影，後來迪士尼又於２００５年６月繼續推出了續篇作品【泰山２】（Tarzan II），是以直接發行影音產品的方式首度推出。
自從【泰山】第一集的電影推出後，迪士尼後續又拍了【泰山】的電視卡通影集，並且還發行過一部由電視影集所衍生的相關的影音產品－【泰山與珍妮】（Tarzan & Jane），當中收錄了幾段電視影集中的內容。到了２００５年，迪士尼才又推出這部算是正宗續集的【泰山２】。第二集的內容則是一個全新的故事，故事設定在 Tarzan 小時候所發生的故事，敘述小 Tarzan 在猩猩群裡被別人視為異類，所以，他只好不斷地鍛鍊自己，以贏得大家對自己的尊重，所以，本片的故事內容算是原本第一集電影的外傳。
【泰山２】由 Brian Smith 執導。配音演員方面有點跟第一集不同，在續集中小 Tarzan 改由 Harrison Chad 擔任配音，他的猩猩好朋友 Terk 則是改由 Brenda Grate 擔任，猩爸與猩媽則依然由 Lance Henriksen 和 Glenn Close 擔任，第二集新加入的角色配音者，則包括有 George Carlin 、Brad Garrett 、Estelle Harris …等等。至於音樂方面，仍由 Mark Mancina 負責
